Hodge persists in challenges to JCCC

Ben Hodge has posted another JCCC piece on his blog, Red County, and also at Race for 2012. I hven’t much time to comment at the moment, but those interested in JCCC, free speech issues or Islam will find this interesting.

Hodge chronicles his involvement in the case of a professor who was initially reprimanded by an administrator for allegedly espousing “anti-Muslim” sentiment (according to the professor, his comments involved criticism of human rights abuses in Islamic countries).

I’m not intimately familiar with the details, but suffice it to say that in today’s environment of politically-correct, hyper-sensitivity surrounding Islam, it is certainly plausible that someone over-reacted.
