Rob Wasinger, candidate for CD1 in Kansas, chatted with the Emporia Gazette today. I was invited to the chat but unfortunately couldn’t make it – I was listening to a lecture on James K. Polk, Martin Van Buren, Grover Cleveland and more!

Pop quiz: Who was the only president to serve non-consecutive terms?
Highlight the text here for the answer: Grover Cleveland served as our 22nd and 24th president (1885–1889 and 1893–1897). He won the popular vote three times, but in 1888 Benjamin Harrison bested him in the electoral college.
