I am a movement conservative with a passion for politics and the written word. My work history includes experiences in media, elections, government and issue advocacy, and my academic focus has been in Business Management and Political Science. Recently I returned to school to earn a degree in political science from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Native to Kansas City, Missouri, I have lived and worked around the Show-Me State. Growing up only a few minutes from Kansas and having made my home in Overland Park for a time, I am also an active observer of Sunflower State politics. I look forward to many years of continuing to explore and enjoy the people and places of Missouri and Kansas.
My articles and columns have appeared in Human Events Online, WORLD Magazine and a number of university publications and blogs. I have served on staff with John McCain for President, the Missouri House Republican Campaign Committee and a Kansas state legislative campaign. My experiences in issue outreach include work for the Children’s Education Alliance of Missouri and the Missouri Civil Rights Initiative. It was several years ago that I first interned for Senator Jim Talent, Missouri House Speaker Rod Jetton and Missouri Governor Matt Blunt.
Some of my personal interests include recreational sports, cooking, music, philosophy and travel.
